major pharmaceutical company. The interactive CD-ROM allowed
each rep to calculate their individual earnings under this
new incentive program. This program provided consistency
of information for all sales reps and efficiency in getting
new information out to a large sales force. The program provided
ease of understanding of corporate changes that affect the
income of a sales team.

This program shows instrument
trays and set-ups for orthopaedic devices, along with surgical
techniques and rationale. We used case studies and included
multiple procedures and instrumentations. We linked surgical
techniques with instruments and allowed program participant
to go back and forth from instruments to surgery.

to educate a sales force, which had basic knowledge of total
joints, about the intricacies of the shoulder and
total shoulder reconstruction, so they could promote new products. The
surgical procedures and rationale were included.
A parallel program was created
for surgeons to instruct and demonstrate the use of the new
instruments. Pre-recorded case studies were used and included
web links to white papers related to total shoulder reconstruction.
