Description: Loral Skynet wanted to have a trade show booth that would attract and entertain clients using golf as the draw. Veritech Corporation and Warren Amerman, our Interactive Designer with years of interactive and game design experience, built a Golf simulator that let Loral clients actually hit a real ball with a driver. Sensors in the tee measured the head speed and direction and passed this information to a computer that kept track of the day's best hits, and played a synchronized video presentation featuring an animated golf ball flying by Loral Skynet satellites. Veritech’s 3D animators using sophisticated animation software to create real-life scenarios showing a tee, followed the drive once hit and then soared with the ball up into outer space where it whizzed by Loral satellites.
