Description:
In partnership with Baystate Health Systems, authors Dr. Ronald Burkman and his team of clinicians, with Veritech Vice President of Production, Jeremy Cole produced this 3-D animation driven instructional interactive CD-ROM Program for hospital delivery personnel to prepare them to handle Shoulder Dystocia in any delivery. A shoulder Dystocia occurs when the infant’s shoulders do not deliver easily despite the mother’s bearing down efforts, uterine contractions, and gentle traction to the fetal head provided by the birth attendant. Using 3-D animation, audio, video and graphics, this CD-ROM program shows clinicians how to treat Shoulder Dystocia, develop the team effort that is needed when this emergency happens and tests them on their knowledge. This is a CME certifiable program and it is for sale in the Veritech Store.
