Veritech Corporation Produces Interactive
Kiosk Programs for the Basketball Hall of Fame
East Longmeadow, MA – Veritech Corporation is nearing completion of nine (9) interactive kiosk programs for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The programs have been produced under a “sub-contract” agreement with the National Basketball Association (NBA). The program creators are; Marty Langford, writer/producer, Warren Amerman, Interactive Designer, David Merck, lead software developer and programmer, Edward Brown, senior video editor and Deb Pinucci and Christian Haley, graphic artists.
The nine interactive programs will be displayed at 16 different stations throughout the Hall of Fame on 15” and 17” flat panel touch screen. All the programs will run from individual computers that are housed in a central computer room and broadcast to the touch screens via long run network connections.
The programs are an exciting array of basketball facts, figures, video sequences, games and on-line information. Programs include:
Mr. Mike Brooslin, Curator of the Hall of Fame, played a critical role in helping the Veritech creative team locate historical data and videos. The multimedia project began in October of 2001. The programs will be launched at the opening of the Basketball Hall of Fame on September 27, 2002.
