VERITECH ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS


East Longmeadow, MA. Veritech Corporation announced the acquisition of all assets of patient education programs from Inlight Corporation of Evanston, Illinois. These patient education programs are designed to offer patients a clear understanding of their medical condition, the nature of tests and procedures they may undergo, and the expected course of their recovery. This library of patient education includes comprehensive information about basic anatomy, specifics of diagnosis, details of treatment procedures, recovery information, and rehabilitation procedures. These programs will be offered to healthcare institutions, national healthcare education distribution networks, and pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

The Veritech library of patient education programs offers comprehensive information on a wide range of disorders, diseases, and symptoms including such categories as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, orthopedics, and women's and men's health. Using on-location footage, state-of-the-art 3D animations, and exemplary writing, these programs cover hours of information, with ease of use for patients to target their specific conditions in segments that may be just several minutes long. All materials are written for a lay audience and assume no prior medical knowledge. Both nurses and physician specialists reviewed each title for medical accuracy, clarity, and "patient friendliness" during the production process.
