Graziano

Steve has been president of Veritech
since its inception as a video production company in l976. He has
been responsible for developing the vision and framework for
Veritech
as it embarked into multimedia marketplace and as it continues
to stay ahead of this fast changing and growing market. Mr.
Graziano
has been personally involved in the production of over one hundred
multimedia Continuing Education programs and is the co-developer
of the Professional Healthcare Series of sales training programs,
produced for the field force of major health care corporations
around
the U.S. and world. He is involved in marketing and maintains relationships
with the Company's most important clients. He holds a Craftsman's
degree in Photography from the Professional Photographers of America
and is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

Dave Sweeney

Dave joins Veritech after having successfully
launched and operated his own communications business, DJS Communications.
Services offered
by DJS Communications included video production, meeting and events
production, speech writing and feature writing.
Prior to that, he spent several years in
corporate communications for CIGNA HealthCare, where he helped
design, launch and manage
CIGNA HealthCare’s intranet, wrote speeches and talking points
for CIGNA’s executive leadership and produced multiple videos
for internal and external CIGNA audiences.

Carl Fortin
Carl currently serves as the CFO for both
Veritech Corporation and Patient Edu, LLC,. He had been the Senior
Vice President, Finance and
CFO for Lego Systems Inc, the North American headquarters of
the Lego group of companies, a world wide manufacturer and distributor
of children’s
toys. During his 24 years with the Lego Company, he was responsible
for all financial functions, financial reporting, human resources
and various
administrative areas.
Comptroller
Kim
Mawaka-St. Marie
Kim joined the Veritech and Patient Edu team having recently
completed her Masters of Accounting Degree. She has 17 years of professional
accounting experience in the corporate environment. Most recently,
Kimberly held the position of Restructuring Controller for MedSource
Technologies, a medical device manufacturing, design and engineering
company. Kimberly was responsible for all financial aspects of a
$20.0m, three-plant consolidation program including total program
capital and P&L spending, cost savings projections, fixed asset
acquisitions / divestitures and the development of various systems
in support of process and product transition. Prior to her efforts
in restructuring, Kimberly held a Facility Controller position in
the laser welding division of MedSource Technologies.
In addition to her responsibilities at Veritech and Patient Edu,
Kimberly is also an adjunct professor in the business school at
American International College.

Jeremy
Cole

Jeremy
joined Veritech in 1980. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Film and Broadcasting from Boston University. Prior to joining Veritech,
he worked in the Boston area for Warner Communications, as a Professor
of Photography for Cambridge College, and as an independent multimedia
producer and photographer for a number of Boston-based clients.
Jeremy
produces interactive and linear programs, as well as teleconferences
and sales meetings, in addition to his managerial duties. He has
produced programs for a broad range of clients including Johnson
& Johnson’s Ethicon division, Smith and Nephew Orthopedics,
Bristol Myers Squibb’s Zimmer division, Stryker’s Howmedica and
Osteonics divisions, Strathmore Paper Company, Diamond Match Company,
United Technologies Hamilton Standard and Otis Elevator divisions,
Wm E. Wright Company, Crane & Company, Sanders Associates, Digital
Equipment Corporation, The Hartford, Gerber Technology, Casual Corner,
Serono, Clarian Healthcare, Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame, Boston
Science Museum, Roadmaster and Baxter Healthcare, among others.
He has also produced, for Veritech, four CD-ROM medical education
anatomy programs on the hip, knee, shoulder and spine joints.
Jeremy’s awards include a Gold Cindy award
in 1999 for the Smith and Nephew TC-100 Fracture Management CD-ROM,
four Silver Cindy Awards including one for the Johnson & Johnson
Iliac Stent product launch video, one for the Basketball Hall of
Fame Honors Court program, one for the Green Bay Packer Legend -
a two-screen, theater presentation for the Packer Hall of Fame and
one for a CD-ROM for Stratec Orthopedics. He was also honored with
a Bronze Cindy Award for an interactive education program produced
for Baxter Healthcare Corporation. In addition, he has earned both
a Gold and Bronze Award from the Western Massachusetts Advertising
Club, a finalist award from the International Film and TV Festival
of New York, and the Silver World Medal in New York Festival’s Healthcare
& Medical category for ProfessionalHealthcare

Warren
Amerman, Director of Audio Design

Warren
Amerman has been with Veritech Corporation for 17 years. He has
served as the President of Visual Data, Inc., a local computer design
company. Warren majored in art at the University of Massachusetts
and is not only an artist, but is also an accomplished musician
and composer, computer engineer, computer animator, interactive
designer, videographer and video editor. In addition to his computer
animation, interactive and engineering duties, Mr. Amerman directs
Veritech’s audio engineering and writes original music for Veritech’s
video and multimedia productions. He created the music theme for
the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame program, produced Resolution,
a three-minute music and video piece that received an award from
the Berlin International Film Festival, and has created more than
twenty-five original music pieces for a selection of Veritech productions.
During
his tenure with Veritech, Warren has designed programming for more
than 120 interactive presentations. His accomplishments include
CME/CEU certification programs for the orthopedic industry, custom
interfacing and interactive programming for the Basketball Hall
of Fame, Little League Museum, the Boston Science Museum, University
of Hartford Museum, Indiana High School Basketball Hall of Fame,
and the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame; a unique interactive video
simulation for Johnson & Johnson; an interactive nursing certification
program for Baxter Healthcare, Inc., and point-of-sale interactive
programs for the retail, hotel and banquet facilities industry.
Warren received a Silver Cindy Award in 1991
for his work on "The Honors Court", a program for the
Basketball Hall of Fame, and has won first place in the IICS 1992
Mark of Excellence competition for the same program. He has also
won a Bronze Cindy in 1993 for his work on the Baxter Healthcare
Corporation interactive education program. In addition, he was accepted
as a finalist for the 1990 European International Film Festival
and won a first-place award for computer effects at the 1991 Houston
International Film Festival.
Producing Staff
Joel
Katon, Producer

Joel is a graduate of Westfield State College
and began his association with Veritech as an intern in 1998. As
a Communications and Film major, he has been able to use his skills
to work as an Associate Producer and Producer for several video,
website, and interactive CD ROM productions. He has lent his skills
to projects for a variety of clients including: Titeflex; Gastite;
Westvaco; the City of Springfield; Pratt and Whitney; and the Basketball
Hall of Fame. A constant work ethic, client appreciation, and creativity
are a few of the skills that make Joel a valued part of our team.
Marty
Langford, Senior Producer

Marty
started at Veritech as an intern while attending Boston University’s
College of Communication. After graduating with a degree in Film
Production (with a concentration in Screenwriting), he joined us
as a freelance crewmember while pursuing a career in independent
filmmaking.
Clients whose projects have gone from concept to completion under
his supervision include: the Basketball Hall of Fame, the Volleyball
Hall of Fame, Spalding Sports Worldwide, Massachusetts College of
Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Western New England College and School
of Law, Westfield State College and the Greater Springfield Convention
and Visitors Bureau.
Marty has written several feature length
screenplays and dozens of short films. He one day hopes to complement
his full-time duties as a producer with a part-time career as a
professional screenwriter and filmmaker.
Programming
Shawn Fumo, Programmer

Shawn is a recent graduate of Springfield
Technical Community College's new Multimedia Technology program.
This program enabled him to gain experience with many kinds of software,
such as Director, Flash, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects,
in addition to previous experience with HTML and programming. He
joined Veritech in 2000 with a summer internship, and officially
joined the team in 2001.
David
Merck, Director of Software Development

Dave
Merck joined the Veritech team as a programmer and 3D graphic designer.
He comes to us with a Computer Science degree from the University
of Massachusetts at Amherst, with a concentration in 3D computer
graphics.
After graduating, Dave worked for Specular,
the makers of Infini-D, an award winning, 3D modeling, rendering
and animation software for the Macintosh computer. His responsibilities
at Specular ranged from product development and management to content
specialist. Dave is considered one of the Top 10, Infini-D users
in the country.
Graphics
DebGay
Pinucci, Graphic Designer

DebGay is a graphic artist, who has been
working for Veritech since 1998. She designs 2D graphics for CD-ROM
and video as well as the print packaging for our programs. Before
coming to Veritech, she had ten years of progressive experience
in educational technology at Springfield Technical Community College.
DebGay designed and established a multipurpose Macintosh computer
lab serving faculty and students in the Humanities Division. She
was the Technical Advisor to the Arts and Technology program and
taught classes in electronic imaging. Her artwork appears in various
college publications. DebGay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from
the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has pursued further
course work in technical writing and architectural and digital design.
